Greetings From New York City

Just got back yesterday from the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival where I had a lot of fun. As an urban dweller my whole life, camping does not come easy. I set my tent up near my friend, Richard Cuccaro, the author of the Acoustic Live Newsletter, who kindly let me share his bit of land.

'lil' critter on my tent.

I also started a Blog of some sort. I don't know what it will do or what it's suppose to do, but I put up a video I took of a train going by while waiting for mine to arrive. Which I found very interesting. Maybe you will too because something very subtle happens in it.

I also posted some more pictures of my adventure to the Kerrville Folk festival in Texas. I rode there with songwriter Jack Hardy, who's been going there for many years. We traveled in his car stopping only to fill the tank or relieve our own. I had a blast of a time and many thanks to Jack for taking me. I hope to go again next year.

Happy summer to you and stay healthy!

Paul

But I've posted a demo version of the song "Beware of Surprise". I remember I recorded the demo/idea late at night a few years back, hence the very quiet vocal. I hope you like it. When I heard it the other night, it amazed me how profoundly music affects words . Hope you like it. You'll find it in the Alive and Singing part of the music section.

Stay healthy.

Paul

Greetings from New York City

Hi Everyone. A few months ago I purchased this thing that can record live shows. I've started to bring it with me and anytime I feel like there's something interesting to a live performance, I'll post it. So I created a new section in the music part of this website called Alive and Singing. Each time time I play a live show I'll try and post a song from that performance. My First addition to this are two tunes that I felt had a different take on them, East River Fishing and The Faith of Adeline Washington, live from the Eclectic Cafe in Long Island. Thanks and I hope you enjoy them.

Paul Sachs
