Around the time I recorded this there was a great Folk club run by songwriter Jack Hardy called Fast Folk where I met some great musicians. My song "Better Man than Me" got on the compilation CD along with some fellow songwriters who are still singing and strumming. I'd like to think I joined the long road of folk heroes like Woody and Leadbelly with my small and meager contribution to American Folk music.
